Companies like Google， Facebook， Microsoft， Intel， Verizon， AT&T et al have been "strongly encouraged" to "cooperate" with US intelligence service and have (because they didnt want to face the unspecified "consequences" of refusing). Does that mean every other country should ban these companies from their internet services？ Of course not. This weaponizing of "national security" concerns when what''''s really motivating the action is anti-competitive monkey-wrenching is hurting every consumer in the world and it''''s an embarrassment for the US inasmuch as everyone know it has nothing to do with security.

I can't accept that other people dominate technology because we can't dominate everything.Sounds weird， right？ This is what we are doing now！ To be honest， sometimes I feel ashamed of my American identity！
